I'm presenting to you astory about a volunearable old woman in my community called Saphina Namitala aged 67 yrs and her 3 yrs old grand daughter, This old woman gave birth to only one son who died and left a 3 yrs old girl with the mom and later the mother of the child abondoned this little girl and took her to stay with her grand mother called Saphina.
Namitala Saphina,(the old woman) supports herself in each and everything starting from food,water,house rent and medication for herself and her grandchild.The 3yr old girl doesn't go to school because the grandma cannot afford to pay school fees and other scholastic materials.
Namitala Saphina, in her poor state works ,she has abusiness of selling fried cow lungs which she chops int small pieces and sells daily every evening at the main road (the taxi stage) here in luzira kirombe. She starts doing this business from 6p.m to late hours and this where she gets little earnings to settle her bills forexample house rent of 80,000 ugsh per month e.t.c. Due to the little money she gets from the business,finds difficult in settling her rent which is her biggest problem.She looks forward to Felicistas Foundation supporting her.
